- The Neosho R-5 Charitable Foundation held their annual Excellence in Education Banquet Thursday evening at the Neosho High School. At the banquet they honored distinguished alumna Pam Cope, distinguished educator Dr. Roy Shaver, and awarded the excellence in education award to the Southwest Alternative Education Center.
