- New Bethel School Restoration

- The New Bethel School, located on New Bethel Road, off F Highway and north of Anderson, is being restored. A group of McDonald County residents have held fundraising events and are currently working to repair the interior of the building. On Thursday, July 5, the McDonald County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the ongoing restoration.
