Starry nights prevailed this week where I live. It’s not always the case. If you look forward to looking up at the stars, patience is the lesson to keep you looking. Even with a special event such the recent lunar eclipse; if clouds got in the way, know that there will be more eclipses to come.

Looking through the pantheon of Peter Pan movies, we’ve got, in chronological order, the vanilla animated classic from Disney “Peter Pan” (1953), the generally panned Spielberg entry “Hook” (1991), and the pretty much forgotten “Peter Pan” (2003).

PINEVILLE — Trying to avoid another vehicle, a Neosho woman sustained minor injuries by crashing her car in the aftermath early Thursday on a McDonald County Highway, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

LANAGAN — Falling asleep at the wheel is blamed for an accident Wednesday in McDonald County that caused minor injuries to a Noel teen, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

Last weekend’s Neosho Fall Festival was a huge success. I spent several hours at the event and heard many compliments about how things continue to improve in our community. Thanks for those comments. I certainly agree.
