Frederick ‘Fred’ John Brune, 99, Neosho, died Feb. 25, 2015, at Granby House Nursing home, following a short illness.  Fred was born April 8, 1915 in Wellington, Mo.  He graduated from MU in 1937 and then owned and operated a poultry farm for many years and was known as the ‘egg man’ in Independence, Mo., where he delivered eggs door to door.
