Bob Dilday, age 47, of Heber Springs, Ark., formerly of Anderson, Mo., departed this life due to complications of pneumonia at White County Memorial Hospital in Searcy, Ark.
Bob was born on October 30, 1960 in Auburn, Calif. He was one of two children born to the late Phil Dilday and Merna Harvey Dilday. He was raised in Southwest Missouri and graduated from McDonald County High School. He was a brick and stonemason by trade. While residing in Heber Springs, he spent time reflecting on his life and received healing and restoration from God. In his walk with God he had overcome many obstacles. He is preceded in death by his father, Phil Dilday, and his grandparents, Dolph and Velma Dilday.
Surviving family include: Sons, Shane Dilday and wife Andrea of Centerton, Ark., Chad Dilday and wife Christina of Bella Vista, Ark., two granddaughters, Payeton and Avery Dilday, brothers, Jack Dilday and wife Renee of Anderson, Mo., Shawn Dilday of Neosho, Mo., step-brothers, Rick Booyer of Powell, Mo., Tim Booyer of Neosho, Mo., Lee Booyer of Neosho, Mo., an uncle, Max Dilday of Gentry, Ark., and his mother Merna Harvey of California.
Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at New Life Fellowship in Anderson.
The family will be receiving friends at that time.
