  • Joshua Phillip Jackson, 34, Granby, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, in a motorcycle accident on Highway 86, east of Neosho.  
    Joshua was born March 13, 1976, to Philip Jackson and Sharon Kay Moore Jackson in Joplin.  He lived most of his life in Granby, moving to Midland, Texas, five years ago. He returned one year ago to this area. He was an avid sports fan and coached numerous sports. He was a member of Full Gospel Evangelist Association and was youth minister at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Joplin, where he was a member.
    Joshua married Sandra Saenz, Aug. 23, 1997, in Houston, Texas.
    Joshua is survived by his wife, Sandra; one son, Caleb Jackson; one daughter, Laney Jackson;  his parents Phil and Sharon Jackson, Stark City; two brothers, Jered Jackson and Jacob Jackson both of Stark City; his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Jackson, Stark City.
    Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 2423 West 26th St., Joplin, with Rev. Fred Franks and Rev. Billy Ray Harvill, officiating. Interment will follow at Berwick Cemetery, east of Granby. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at Clark Funeral Home, Granby.
    Contributions may be made to the Caleb and Laney Jackson Education Fund c/o Clark Funeral Home, P. O. Box 26, Granby.
