    Barbara was born Nov, 12. 1933 in Guthrie, Okla., to Jesse O. Rosson and Anna Lou (Everett) Rosson.

  • Barbara Ann Andrews, Neosho, died Aug. 25, 2012, at Freeman Hospital, Neosho,. following a long illness.
    Barbara was born Nov, 12. 1933 in Guthrie, Okla., to Jesse O. Rosson and Anna Lou (Everett) Rosson.
    Barbara met the love of her life, Francis Eugene Andrews, on a blind date arranged by some friends. She and “Gene” were married on Feb. 22, 1953. They lived in Stillwater, Okla., and Wichita, Kan. before moving to Neosho.
    Barbara attended elementary and high school in Guthrie. She graduated from Crowder College in 1980 with highest honors. She worked at the Neosho Chamber of Commerce, where she was a secretary. She also worked for the Water and Wastewater Technical School, volunteered at the Tri-State Cerebral Palsy Center, and served on the Central School and South School P.T.A. Barbara attended the First Christian Church where she was a youth group leader and Sunday school teacher.
    Barbara is survived by her husband Francis (Gene) Andrews; sister, Betty Hamilton, Guthrie; four children, Karen and Bill Dobbs, Noel, Ellen and Ed Baker, Neosho, David and Brenda Andrews, Neosho, Laurie and Randy Wilson, Neosho; 14 grandchildren; Erin and Justin Farmer; Amelia (Emmy) and Tien Duong; Allie and Jason Wakefield; Spencer and Rachel Dobbs; Chris Dobbs; Nate Dobbs; Morgan and Rodney King; Joel Baker; Joshua and Lindsey Andrews; Caleb and Melissa Andrews; Dana and Jacob Pim; Jana Wilson and Bobby Clark; 18 great-grandchildren; Davon, Quincey, Brice Willis; Lakeland, Cheyenne, Timber, Jessica Farmer; Kyle, Matthew, Isaac, Katy King; Crimson, Drake, Cooper, Haven, Jetney Andrews; Josie Andrews; Koy Duong; countless nieces and nephews that were very dear to her.
    Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Reba Fitzpatrick; two brothers, Harrel (H.B.) Rosson; Kenneth (A.K.) Rosson.
    Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. today, at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
    Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the First Christian Church, Neosho, with Al Gritten officiating. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery, Neosho.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cerebral Palsy or The Lupus Foundation of America c/o Clark Funeral Home P.O. Box 66 Neosho, 64850.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
