Judith Ann Moss, Stark City, died Aug. 30, 2012, at her home, following a short illness.

She was born Sept. 3, 1943, in Stella, to Charles Clifford (Tuck) and Gertrude (Gerty) (Cole) Brown. Her father preceded her in death.

A lifelong resident, Judy was a banking manager for 27 years, employed at American Bank Baxter Springs, Kan., and First State Bank, Joplin; a member of the Wanda United Methodist Church, and an avid bowler. Judy owned the Brown Derby Restaurant in Stark City, where she expressed her love for cooking. She also helped in the planning of the Jesse James Days and loved coaching the Little League Softball team.  

Judy married Jim Geller, who preceded her in death, Oct. 1, 1979; after which she married Clint “Zeke” Lyster, who also has preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1999. Judy was married to Ed Moss on Nov. 11, 2006, in Miami, Okla., and he survives.

Judy is survived by her mother, “Gerty” Brown; children and spouses, Lynn (Hughes) and Mark Judd, Granby, Rock Hughes, Branson, Crystal “Sug” (Geller) and Rick Jones, Canton, Ga.; step-children and spouses, Patrick and Silke Moss, Crane, Mo., Richard Gorman, Joplin; one sister, Wilma Miller, Stark City; five grandchildren; J.P. Judd, Caylee Geller, Noah Jones, Ryley Jones, Alexander Moss; close family friends; Kathy and Gary Johnson.
Visitation will be held 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Clark Chapel, Neosho.

The family will hold a memorial service 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Wanda United Methodist Church, Wanda, with Pastor Jim Martin officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wanda United Methodist Church building fund or Ronald McDonald House Charity; Joplin Chapter c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, 64850.
