  • An on duty Neosho police officer received minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning near the intersection of Gateway Drive and Missouri Highway 86.

  • An on duty Neosho police officer received minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning near the intersection of Gateway Drive and Missouri Highway 86.
    Riley Schroter, 17, was traveling southbound on Gateway Drive in his 1991 Dodge Dakota at approximately 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning, when he allegedly stopped at the southbound stop sign then pulled into the path of Officer Andrew Snider’s patrol car, causing the two vehicles to collide.
    Snider was transported by police car to Freeman Neosho with minor injuries, while Schroter reported head pain from hitting his head on the side window of his vehicle.
    The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the crash.
