Edra D. Putman, 86, Neosho, died Sept. 26, 2012 at Granby House, following a lengthy illness.
Edra was born Oct. 23, 1925 in Lonoke, Ark., and moved to the area as a child. She was a homemaker and a member of Granby First Baptist Church.
Edra married Robert Chrisman Putman on March 24, 1946, in Fairview and he preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 2008.
She is survived by three children, Tom Putman and wife, Barbara, Granby, Janis Jerome and husband, Estel, Granby and Jay Putman, Meridian, Miss.; seven grandchildren, Thomas Chris Putman, Jr. and wife, J.J., Joplin, David Putman, Granby, Kimberly Chesnut and husband, Chad, Stark City, Todd Jerome and wife, Diana, St. Peters, Mo., Brian Scott Jerome and wife, Becci, Granby, Stephanie Shaw and husband, Travis, Granby and Tammy Logan and husband, Toby, Granby; and 23 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Bobbie Edra; two sisters; and one brother.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Granby, Rev. Russ Johnson will officiate. Interment will be in the Neosho IOOF Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be, Thomas Chris Putman, David Putman, Todd Jerome, Brian Scott Jerome, Chad Chesnut, Travis Shaw and Toby Logan.
Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby from noon until 4 p.m. Sunday, and the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
