  • WILLARD — Willard built an early lead and never looked back, defeating Neosho 25-10, 25-15 in a Central Ozark Conference Large Division game on Thursday.
    Willard came out ready to play and used its athleticism to keep the ball off the floor and carried the momentum into the second set. The Lady Wildcats continued to fight, but in the end the Lady Tigers were too much to handle.
    Tori Eads led Neosho with 10 service points, three aces and 12 assists. Reba Potts had five kills. Chelsey Henry led in blocks with one. Sam Duke turned in four blocks.
    The loss dropped the Lady Wildcats to 3-12-3 overall this season.
    The Lady Tigers prevailed in the junior varsity match in three sets 25-10, 25-25, 25-14.
    Willard also prevailed in the ninth grade game 25-15, 25-13.
