  • Neosho faced a good Ozark volleyball team on Thursday and fell in straight sets 25-12, 25-9 at NHS.
    Jackie Fugate led the Lady Tigers with seven kills and three blocks. Brianna Justice turned in 13 assists and two aces. Bridgette Justice finished with 10 digs.
    Tori Eads led the Lady Wildcats in three categories as she had seven service points, three assists and two kills. Rheed Rook matched Eads with two kills and Sam Duke finished with 11 digs.
    Ozark also won the junior varsity match 25-9, 25-5. The Lady Tigers also prevailed in the ninth grade match 25-11, 25-14.
    Neosho’s varsity is now 3-15-4, 0-4 in the Central Ozark Conference Large Division. The Lady Wildcats open play at the Neosho Tournament at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
