Ruth E. Hall, 77, Goodman, was called to heaven on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Freeman Neosho Hospital following a sudden illness.
Ruth was born on June 20, 1935, in South Bend, Ind., to the late Tony and Bessie Wildrick.
She married Carl Hall on June 20, 1953, at South Bend, and to this union two sons were born. They moved to Goodman in 1985, coming from South Bend. She worked as a bookkeeper for R&J Salvage in Goodman, for 15 years. Ruth was an excellent cook, loved the outdoors and birds. She raised, loved and cherished all kinds of animals. Ruth will be remembered as having a Heart of Gold and dedicating her life to raising and caring for her family.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael James Hall; and a grandchild, Rachel Lynn Hall.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Hall of the home; a son, Carl Hall, Jr. Owasso, Okla.; two brothers, Ray Wildrick and wife, Stella, Lake Minchumina, Alaska, John Wildrick and wife, Rosalea, Walkerton, Ind.; four grandchildren, Michele Walters, Michael James Hall, Jerry Jackson Hall and Kelly Gary Waite; two great-grandchildren, Brady Daugherty, Stephanie Rettig and husband, Steven; two great-great-grandchildren, Michael Rettig and Madison Rettig; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Ruth and her kind, loving nature.
Funeral services for Ruth Hall will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Howard Cemetery in Goodman. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. today at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home.
