Neosho residents will have the chance to share their vision for the city's parks programs during an open meeting scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 at the Lampo Community Center, 500 E. Spring St.
The meeting will be hosted by the City of Neosho, in conjunction with Land3 Studio, of Kansas City.
In May, the Neosho City Council approved a $7,350 contract with Land3 Studio, for a focused needs assessment study of the city's parks.
Troy Royer, Neosho City Manager, has said the parks needs assessment study will allow the city to be eligible for grants the city previously could not apply for.
Though Land3 originally came up with a seven-component scope of services, the council has only approved the needs assessment as of now.
