The Neosho Lady Wildcats softball team held their annual sports banquet last week at the Neosho High School cafeteria. Team awards, which were voted on by the team, were given out along with participation awards, provisional varsity letter winners and varsity letter winners.
In the team awards Morgan Rathmann and Hailey Geller were selected as co-Team Most Valuable Player. Emily Harrell and Dehring Scudder shared the Most Improved Player award. Rathmann picked up the Team Leadership Award.
The Wildcat Award was also shared by Rathmann and Geller. Cassie Dickens was selected Best Defensive for the varsity while Rathmann and Bailey Spence shared the Best Offensive award. Rathmann, Emily Harrell and Dickens shared the Most Hustle award for the varsity team.
For the junior varsity squad Best Offensive went to Katie Cholka. Best Defensive was awarded to Hannah Warren. Most Hustle went to Scudder.
Participation Awards were given to Warren, Kenzie Potter, Scudder, Dickens and Makale Harris. Provisional varsity letter winners were Lindsey Vance, Haley Thogmartin and Deanna Bingham.
Varsity letter winners were Rathmann, Geller, Chandler Ellis, Dickens, Shelby Johnson, Kylee Belcher, Kylie Bach, Spence, Harrell, Danielle Forkner and Cholka.
