Cornell said she loves to fish, but "I just don’t get to go often enough is my problem."

Each of the participants could catch up to four fish, have them cleaned and put into bags to be taken home.

The decision was made during Tuesday night's council meeting.

"It was supposed to be [extended] anyway, but with the wintertime, nobody was out there," Granby City Clerk Paula Carsel said. "Summertime, people are coming back in, so we don't have enough hours out there to collect recyclables."

"About a quarter to 6 a.m. Tuesday, the call came into dispatch from a male caller, who just made the statement that there was a bomb at the courthouse that would go off at 9 a.m.," Newton County Sheriff Ken Copeland told the Neosho Daily News.
