Local authorities are searching for a runaway teenager, last seen more than a week ago.
Petrina Andreah Dolon, 14, reportedly ran away from Seneca High School after classes ended for the day on Nov. 14.
No foul play is suspected, but Seneca Police Chief James Altic said it was determined that Dolon had lied about where she was going after school.
"She arranged her own get-away," he said.
Altic said it is uncertain if someone picked her up at the school, or if she walked to a residence or other pick up point. He said authorities have been unable to track down a known former boyfriend.
Family members say she may be in the Neosho, Granby or Goodman area, though Altic said police have so far not been able to locate her at any of the likely places.
Dolon was currently living in foster care in Seneca, though Neosho is her home. She has run away from foster care before, family members say.
Dolon is described as standing 5 feet, two inches, weighs between 105 and 110 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She is Caucasian.
Anyone with any information regarding Dolon's whereabouts is urged to please call the Newton County Sheriff's Department at 451-8300 or any local law enforcement agency.
