The Neosho seventh grade girls basketball teams claimed another pair of victories on Tuesday as they rolled past Nevada.
As has been the case for most of the season, the Lady Wildcats dominated both games. The “A” team thumped the Lady Tigers 62-10. The “B” squad, meanwhile, whipped the Lady Tigers 42-13.
Having sliced through the competition with ease this season, the victories moved both Lady Wildcats teams to 7-0 overall.
The “A” team was led in scoring by Allison Burr, who scored a career-high 33 points in the contest. Seven other Lady Wildcats scored in the game as Cami Roy added eight points, Makayla Hayes had six, Ashley Talley, Emilee Anderson and Amy Morris four apiece, Caitlyn Jordan two and Jessica VanLear one.
Anderson led the “B” team with a game-high 14 points. Amadiyah Hames turned in 12 points and VanLear added six while Morris, Lindsey Linny and Alyssa Sanders had two apiece.
Neosho will be back in action when they host Joplin East on Monday at Neosho Middle School. The Lady Wildcats then travel to Ozark on Tuesday and Aurora on Thursday.
