Area youth killed in ATV accident

 A Fairview boy was killed Thursday in an ATV accident near Purdy.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that at 4:30 p.m. Jet Lee, 13, was riding a 2006 Honda Rancher ATV on private property west of State Highway 86, 3.5 miles north of Purdy, when the ATV rolled down a hill and came to rest on Lee, inflicting serious injuries.

He was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, where he was pronounced dead at 7:33 p.m. Thursday.
