David Isaiah Foster, age 54, Neosho, passed from this life after a sudden illness on Friday, November 30, 2012 while at his home. David was born on October 24, 1958 in Purdy, the son of Lonnie Roosevelt Foster and Myrtle Madeline (Myers) McCord. David grew up in Monett and had lived in Republic, before moving to Neosho in 2010. David was an avid sports fan. He especially enjoyed watching the St. Louis Rams and the Cardinals.
On March 24, 1979, in Monett, David and Susan Clapper were united in marriage. To this union three children were born. Those left to mourn the passing of David are his loving wife, Susan, of the home; two sons, Davin David Foster, of Battlefield, Mo. and Derrick Alexander Foster, of Neosho; one daughter, Amber Louise Pedersen, and husband Erik, of Springfield, Mo.; four grandchildren, Bliss Louise Foster, Kaleb Davin Pak, Alexis Leighanne Pedersen and Autumn Reese Pedersen; three brothers, Glen Foster, and wife Loretta, of Sarcoxie, Harold Foster, and wife Shelly, of Sarcoxie and Clarence Foster, and wife Kathy, of Greenfield; three sisters, Vesta Meyers, and husband Richard, of Raymore, Bonnie Jenkins, of Aurora, and Rosetta Kay, and husband David, of Lowell, Ark.; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Alice Louise Craker and Mary Ann Foster; one nephew, Corey Foster; and one niece, Dawn Sherree Foster.
Graveside services for Mr. Foster will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Arnhart Cemetery in Purdy, with Chaplain Brent Culpen officiating. The family invites friends for a visitation on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
