A solid fourth quarter helped lift Crane to a 59-56 victory over Diamond in the championship game of the Pierce City Tournament on Saturday.
After falling behind in the first quarter 18-11, the Wildcats answered by outscoring Crane 18-11 in the third and 18-12 in the fourth quarter. But Crane answered with a 16-9 advantage in the fourth on their way to the victory.
Ryan Jinks had a solid night for the Wildcats with 27 points. Logan Myers turned in 12 points while Brodie Bien tossed in 11 and Trent Hayes seven.
Jordan Bowling had 20 points for Crane while Bailey Moore added 11.
The Wildcats (2-1) take on Lamar at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Seneca Tournament.
