Linda Janette Green, 68, entered into rest on Dec. 2, 2012, at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 24, 1944 in Granby, to Bill and Cora Marie (Long) Britton.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter; ChloeJo Clouse; parents, Bill and Cora Britton; and brother, Billy Britton.
Linda was a lifelong resident of Granby and worked as a seamstress at Granby Garment Factory and La-Z-Boy. She was a member of the 1st Church Of God, Granby.
She married Frank Green and he survives.
She is also survived by her daughters, Sheila Clouse and husband, Harold, Granby, Shelly Butler and husband, Bill, Neosho; three grandchildren, Zack Butler, Cody Butler and wife, Felicia; three great-grandchildren, Fisher, Hunter, and Melanie Butler and four sisters, Donna Vance, Granby, Tammy Hutchens, Newtonia, Pam Maness, Granby, and Joyce West, Springfield, Mo.
The family will hold a memorial service at 10 a.m. Friday, at 1st Church Of God, Granby. Pastor Ashley Edgemon officiating.
Cremation services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Granby.
