The Neosho Wildcat X-treme Team (WXT) youth wrestling team began their season on Sunday at the Seneca Tournament.
SENECA — The Neosho Wildcat X-treme Team (WXT) youth wrestling team began their season on Sunday at the Seneca Tournament.
Neosho brought home the prized “sportsmanship” trophy, which was voted upon by officials, as well as having 32 wrestlers earn medals at the event.
Marcus Shaeffer collected the fastest pin in the 10-under division, stopping his opponent in five seconds, which also came in as the fastest pin of the tournament.

The X-treme Team will host their annual WXT Tournament on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. at the Neosho High School gymnasium.
