The Crowder Lady ‘Riders didn’t feel like they put their best foot forward on Saturday and suffered the consequences as they lost to Pratt College, 86-78 at Bob Sneller Gymnasium.
“We deserved to get beat,” Lady ‘Riders coach Tina Robbins said matter of factly. “We didn’t put in a good effort.”
After defeating Pratt 80-67 on the road back on Nov. 27, the Lady ‘Riders struggled to make their presence known on Saturday. Pratt led 48-40 at the half, and kept Crowder at arms length for most of the game.
Caprese Marshall rattled in 20 points to lead the Lady ‘Riders while Camila Lacerda pitched in 16, Sarah Sagely 15, Seleena Neal 12, Terai Sadler seven, Veronica Amos four, and Dorian Briggs and Megan Ritter two each. Sadler led the team with six rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
The Lady ‘Riders (11-3) entertain North Central College at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
