Pauline Annabell Renick Vosberg, 94, Neosho, died Dec. 18, 2012, at her home in Neosho, following a short illness.
Pauline was born to Ora (Kenyon) and Johnson Murphy Renick on July 24, 1918, in Neosho. She attended Neosho schools, graduating as valedictorian of her class in 1935.
She married Paul Furgerson in 1936 and they moved to Oklahoma City and were transferred to Tulsa, Okla., where they remained until his death in Feb. 1974.
Pauline later married Wade Vosberg and they moved to Neosho and lived there until his death. Pauline has been a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho and adult choir since 1984. She worked as a volunteer wherever she was needed.
She is survived by one son, Paul David Furgerson and wife, Vanessa; one sister-in-law, Mitsie Renick; one grandson, Scott, living in Laughlin, Nev.; one granddaughter, Kerri, living in the state of California; two step-granddaughters, Donna Ross and Carolyn Zazueta, both of the state of California; one step-great-granddaughter, Jacklyn Hernandez; one niece, Dixie Hurn and husband, Burt, and a nephew, John Arthur Jones and wife, Masako and many friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, Neosho. Rev. Roger Brumley and Rev. Sam Turner will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Interment will be in the Neosho IOOF Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Ed Leavitt, Al Forbes, Craig Jackson, Scott Tucker, Scott Forbes and Gene Pettit. Honorary pallbearers will be Burt Hurn and Charles Goade.
Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Pauline may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Choir, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, 64850.
