Tommy Joe Talley, 54, Anderson, entered into rest on Dec. 30, 2012, at Cancer Treatment Center of America, Tulsa, Okla., following a two-year illness.
He was born Dec. 13, 1958, in Anderson, to Tom and Pauline (Ramey) Talley and was a lifelong area resident. Tommy worked at Tyson Foods for 20 years until the plant closed and currently worked at Jarden. He love to hunt and fish and spend time with his family and grandson, Lane.
Tommy married Rose Ward on April 4, 1981, in Granby and she survives.
Additional survivors include his mother, Pauline Talley; three children, T. J. Talley; Cory Talley and wife, Emily, and Keaton Talley, all of Ritchey; three brothers, Jerry Talley and wife, Susan, Goodman; Bob Talley and wife, Maryann, Grove, Okla., and Richard Talley and wife, Sonja, Anderson; four sisters, Shirley Weems, Stark City, Betty Jones, Goodman, Edith McEwen and husband, Terry, of the state of Texas and Tootsie Talley, Anderson; one grandson, Lane Talley, and an unborn grandson, Chase Talley.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Granby, Pastor Frank Ward officiating. Interment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. today and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
