Joe Allen Packwood

Joe Allen Packwood, 61, Wheaton, die Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, in his home.

Joe owned and operated Packwood Saddlery and later the Junction Quick-Stop. He was a softball mentor and instructor more than 30 years.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, in Ridgley Baptist Church, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Burial will be in Rocky Comfort Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m. today in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.

Contributions may be made to his grandchildren's education fund in his memory.
