Jerry Lee Rickman, 72, went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, Jan. 13, 2013, at his home in Goodman, following a short illness.
He was born Sept. 16, 1940, in Kennett, Mo., to L.C and Vera (Cagle) Rickman.
Jerry, his wife, and his family have lived in Goodman for 32 years. He was an avid hunter and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God, Neosho, where he had great fellowship with his men's group.
Jerry married Gladys Trumbull on July 6, 1968, and she survives.
He is also survived by his four sons, Jack Rickman and wife, Judy, Neosho, Donny Rickman and wife, Melissa, Rocky Comfort, Rondil Rickman, Gerald Rickman and wife, Mildred, Burton, Mich.; two daughters, Chelly Davis and husband, D.J. state of Texas, Tina Cook and husband, Mabin, Goodman; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold Rickman and wife, Glenda state of Tennessee; many friends and relatives.
Jerry will be dearly missed by all.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents L.C. and Vera Rickman; five brothers, Bob, Bondee, David, Larry, and Jimmy Dearl Rickman; and one grandson, Duane Heasty.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, at Howard Cemetery, Goodman with Rev. Ken Robinson officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
