The Diamond boys thumped the Wyandotte (Okla.) Bears 70-44 on Saturday at the NEO Tournament on the campus of NEO A&M.
The Wildcats had little trouble as they jumped out on a 20-4 run in the first quarter and carried a 41-19 lead into the half.
They never looked back.
Trent Hayes led the Wildcats with 16 points while Logan Myers added 15, Brodie Bien 10, Evan Moreland seven, Austin Singleton six, Darren Russow five, Ryan Jinks four, Cort Hardy three, Michael Bray two and Tyler Putman two.
Neese led the Bears with 21 points while Larson added 11.
The Wildcats dropped a game to West Fork (Ark.) in the tournament on Friday, 57-41.
In that one the Tigers got on top early and kept it that way as they built a 13-7 lead at the end of the first quarter and took a 26-18 lead into the intermission. Despite turning in their best quarter with 16 points in the third, the Wildcats watched as the Tigers closed on a 17-7 binge in the fourth to claim the victory.
The Tigers were led by Josh Ferrell with 35 points while Leon Beasley added eight, Trusten Desoto six, Robert Wingate four, Jeremy Hoornaert two and Travis England two.
Jinks led Diamond with 12 points while Bien finished with 11, Myers seven, Hayes three, Singleton three, Russow three and Hardy two.
Diamond (15-4) entertains Monett at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
