Organizers are gearing up for a fundraiser this Saturday to send a group to an upcoming spiritual retreat.
Drinks and Divination – hosted by Jeyd Automwolf at Jus 1 Mor Sports Bar and Night Club, 1358 N. Business Highway 71, Neosho – will be held from noon until 4 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
"We are doing this to help the spiritual group raise money to pay the registration fees, pay for the transportation to get up there, pay for their gas, pay for everything associated with the retreat fees," Automwolf said. "Right now, I believe that we have five women that we would like to send, if we can raise enough money, we would like to send a few additional women."
The retreat is at Babler State Park in St. Louis from April 5-7. A $50 per person registration fee has to be paid by March, Automwolf said.
"The $50 only covers your boarding. You also have to factor in your transportation, your gas to get up there, you have to provide your own bedding materials," she said. "They have vendors onsite that you can purchase additional items. There are workshops that you can attend while you are up there. Rough cost with your transportation, everything, it costs $75-$100 per person to go to the retreat."
During the upcoming fundraiser, the bar will be serving food and drinks in addition to the divination techniques provided by local talents Menu items include chicken strips, burgers, nachos, brisket sandwiches and other items.
Featured divination and vendors include:
• Tarot card reading with Automwolf.
• Astrology chart preparation and tarot card reading by Thomas Hostetler.
• Pre-made and custom leather gauntlets by PheonixRose.
• Lady V's Lair of Jewelz will offer custom jewelry pieces.
• Palm reading by Mystic Yarrow.
The event also includes from 2-2:30 p.m. they will take a short break from divination for drumming.
"We welcome anybody to bring an instrument," she said.

Divination is the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means.
Automwolf said she is pleased with the upcoming fundraiser.
"I am so excited," she said. "I have been passing flyers out, I have been telling everybody, we have a Facebook event created. We are getting such a warm response from the public. People seem to just be so excited. I posted flyers all around town, telling people. We are hoping to draw a large crowd."
