  • A Seneca veterinarian pled guilty Monday to two misdemeanor charges of first-degree sexual misconduct.
Darrel Ray Clark, 49, was charged in November 2011 for two incidents alleged to have occurred at his place of employment, Seneca Veterinary Clinic, 3319 Kentucky Rd.
According to the probable cause affidavit, written in October 2011, Clark inappropriately grabbed the victim twice, once on Sept. 14, 2011, and again on Sept. 17, 2011.
According to the report, a witness observed the second incident.
“The victim stated that without [victim’s] consent, Mr. Clark grabbed [victim’s] breast on September 14th and then [victim’s] crotch on September 17th through the clothing while at work at Seneca Vet Clinic,” the affidavit states.
According to Missouri CaseNet, Clark’s case was first assigned to Newton County Associate Circuit Judge Gregory Stremel, who recused himself from the case in December 2011.
Clark’s case was then picked up by Newton County Presiding Judge Timothy Perigo, however in August 2012, Clark was granted a change of venue request.
The case then went before McDonald County Associate Circuit Judge John LePage.
According to CaseNet, Clark was sentenced to unsupervised probation.
