  • Neosho seventh grade boys basketball team downed Joplin North in a pair of games on Monday, with the “A” team prevailing 48-20, and the “B” team winning 37-23.

  • Neosho seventh grade boys basketball team downed Joplin North in a pair of games on Monday, with the “A” team prevailing 48-20, and the “B” team winning 37-23.
    Jared Scribner went four-for-four from beyond the arc and led the Wildcats with 16 points and three steals in the “A” game. Brady Wise pitched in 14 points, six steals and three assists. Yeej Lee had six points while Jarvis Funk pitched in five, Gavin Kelley three, Keilan Moore two and Braxton Pennington two.
    The “B” squad was led offensively with Kaleb Moreland’s 12 points, three assists and two steals. Pennington followed with 12 points and five steals, Luke Kibler added seven points and five boards, Ethan Coon had four points and four assists, Davon Willis added two points and Grant Guillory pulled down four boards.
    Neosho “A” is now 8-2 overall while the “B” squad improved to 6-1.
