Cledith I. Morris, 74, Goodman, died Feb. 1, 2013, at Freeman West Hospital following an illness.
Cledith was born Sept. 6, 1938, in Neosho, the daughter of O’Dell and Mirtie (Singleton) Wead. She was a lifelong area resident and had worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service; enjoyed bowling and was a friend to all who met her. She attended Cave Springs Baptist Church.
Cledith married Glen Morris and were married 30 years prior to being divorced in 1988.
She is survived by two children, Glen Paul Morris, Jr. and Debbie Kay Whitman, both of Neosho; one sister, Linda Roberts, Neosho; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Wead and Melvin Wead; and her companion of 11 years, Billy Lee Thomas, who died on Jan. 31, 2013.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at New Salem Cemetery, Ron Bridges, minister will officiate.
Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
