Melvin Lee Kimbrough, 76, entered into rest on Feb. 4, 2013, at Barton County Hospital, Lamar, following a long illness.
He was born Dec. 6, 1936, in Stella, to Onal T. and Margie Mae (Colwell) Kimbrough.
Melvin was raised and resided in Stark City, and had worked for Farmland Industry, Inc. He loved any type of hunting and was a member of the Church of Christ, Stark City.
Melvin is survived by his brothers, Carol Kimbrough, Max Kimbrough; sisters, Bettie Morgan, Glenda Knowles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Kimbrough.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, at Dice Cemetery, Fairview; J.R. Burr officiating. Melvin's nephews will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to the Melvin Kimbrough Memorial Fund, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, 64850. Services are under direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
