A Neosho woman and three minors were injured Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash near Stella.

Amanda L. Burrowes, 27, was traveling northbound on Quail Road, four miles southwest of Stella, in a 2004 Ford Focus, when the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree.

Burrowes, along with passengers Alyssa L. Burrowes, 13, and Robert L. Barnes, 6, sustained moderate injuries in the crash, and were transported to Freeman West Hospital by EMS.

A third passenger, two-year-old Kelsey L. Reed, sustained minor injuries in the crash, and was also transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

Reed was the only passenger wearing a seatbelt, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.

A Seneca woman received serious injuries Sunday afternoon, in a two-car crash west of Neosho.

Ruth Yeakey, 85, was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 60, six miles west of Neosho, in a 2006 Chevrolet truck, when she failed to yield and pulled into the path of a 2012 Toyota, driven by John R. Farnen, 50, of Caseyville, Ill.

Yeakey was taken by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital, in Joplin.

Farnen was not injured in the crash.
