Oma Faye Green, 95, Seneca, died Feb. 16, 2013, at Seneca House in Seneca, following a short illness.
Oma was born June 20, 1917 in Neosho, the daughter of James G. and Truda (Adams) Addington. She was a lifelong area resident, a homemaker and member of the Seneca Church of Christ.
Oma married John Preston Green on April 23, 1938, in Neosho and he preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1988.
She is survived by three children, Shirley Ann Hatfield, Bella Vista, Ark., Roger Lee Green and wife, Judy, Neosho, and Gwendolyn Hopper and husband, Clyde, Neosho; one brother, Joe E. Addington, Neosho; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Terry and Larry Hatfield; two granddaughters, Sandy Hatfield Siahmakoun and Lindsay Hopper; one sister, Beatrice Murray; two brothers, Alton Addington and Tom Addington and son-in-law, Jim Hatfield.
Services for Oma Faye will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Randall Caselman will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Salem Cemetery, west of Neosho. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. today and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the Clark Funeral Home.
