Federal Radio Commission (FRC) formed

President Calvin Coolidge signed into law The Radio Act of 1927 on February 23, 1927. This Act was responsible for the creation of the Federal Radio Commission which regulated radio use in the United States until it was replaced by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in 1934.
