A single-vehicle crash sent one Joplin man to the hospital Monday afternoon with minor injuries.
Wayne M. Johnson, 52, was traveling southbound on Highway 43, three miles south of Joplin, in a 1999 Ford Van, when he lost control of the vehicle on a curve, skidded off the left side of the roadway, struck a driveway and overturned.
Johnson was transported by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, the patrol report noted.

A Saturday afternoon crash south of Joplin resulted in injuries for two area motorists.
Brandon S. Cooper, 29, of Joplin, was traveling southbound on Coyote Road, half a mile south of Joplin in a 2000 Buick when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 2003 Chevrolet nearly head on.
Cooper sustained moderate injuries in the crash and was transported to Freeman West Hospital, in Joplin, for treatment.
The driver of the Chevrolet, Enrique Gutierrez, 28 of Miami, Okla. Received minor injuries in the accident and was also transported to Freeman West Hospital.
Cooper was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, while Gutierrez was, the patrol report noted.
