Shilo Renee Mathis, 36, passed away at her home March 14, 2013, following a sudden illness.
She was born Jan. 26, 1977, in Joplin, to Leslie and Janice Ruth (Scott) Mathis. Shilo was a lifelong area resident and worked as a manufacturing machine operator. She loved animals, jewelry, and art. She also enjoyed putting together puzzles and fishing.
Shilo is survived by her father, Les and wife Mary Mathis of Seneca; her mother, Janice Hacker and husband, Jeff of Springdale, Ark; brother, Jesse Mathis of Springdale; step-brothers, Charles Tullis, Jr. of Seneca, Raymond Tullis of Muskogee, Okla.; sisters, Sheila Wigent of Seneca, Shannon Mathis of Seneca, Tanyaneeka Boyer of Springdale; step-sister, Tammie Lewis of Muskogee.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday a.m. at the Church of Hope, Neosho. Rev. Faron Anderson will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
