  • A rural Neosho man was arrested around 10 a.m. Monday morning, after authorities discovered methamphetamines in his home.
Authorities with the Newton County Sheriff's Department served a search warrant at 15724 Finch Drive on Monday, at which time they discovered a large amount of methamphetamine at the residence of William Shane Poole, 47, of rural Neosho.
Newton County Prosecutor Jacob Skouby filed three charges against Poole on Monday, according to Missouri CaseNet.
Poole has been charged with a class B felony of manufacturing a controlled substance, a class C felony of possession of a controlled substance, and a class C felony of first-degree child endangerment.
Authorities with the Newton County Sheriff's Department recovered the methamphetamine along with two "shake-and-bake" labs inside the home, according to authorities with the sheriff's department.
Authorities said a one-year old child was removed from the residence, while arrangements would also be made to put a 10-year-old child, who was not home at the time of the raid, in protective custody as well.
Poole's bond amount is set at $15,000, according to CaseNet.
The case has been assigned to Newton County Associate Circuit Court Judge Gregory Stremel, though no court date has yet been set, per CaseNet.
