ANDERSON — A sizable crowd was seen on Saturday during the annual McDonald County Business Expo, held at the high school.

NDN: How many years have you been open?
Qualls: For about five or six years.
NDN: Tell us about the business?
Qualls: We are actually reopening. We are open from 3-8 p.m. Monday through Friday. We offer gym membership, tanning membership and we have aqua massage.
NDN: Why were you closed for a while?
Qualls: We were closed for a little while, (closed) for the economy.
NDN: Do you do personal training for the customers?
Qualls: We don't, we just kind of let people do their own thing. Whatever they want to do as far as the treadmill or work out on the abs machine.
NDN: Are you seeing more and more people coming in as it is getting closer and closer to spring and summer months?
Qualls: Yes, definitely, especially prom, a lot of high schoolers coming into tan.
NDN: Have you participated in this expo before?
Qualls: This is our second year to the business expo.
NDN: How important is it for your business to come out and participate at this business expo today?
Qualls: We definitely want to spread the word that we are back open, get people into the shop.
NDN: How pleased are you to be the office manager of Main Street Fitness?
Qualls: I am so excited to get in there and to meet people, see everyone's familiar faces, because I do live in town. I am ready to get the business going.
