Beulah B. Stalker, 90, entered into rest on March 28, 2013, at Medicalodge Neosho, following an illness.
She was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Parnell, Iowa, to Clarence and Fannie (Delozier) Tippie.
Beulah was raised in Anderson, graduated from Anderson High School in 1941 and then graduated from St. John's School of Nursing Joplin.
After getting married, she and her husband, Bert moved to Anderson, Ind., and lived there from 1946-1955. They then returned to Neosho, in 1955. She worked as a nurse at St. John's prior to becoming the director of nursing at Joplin Regional Diagnostic Center from 1967 – 1981, when she retired. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Neosho.
Beulah married Bert Stalker on April 3, 1946, in Columbus, Kan., and he preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 2000.
She is survived by her children, Janice Farrell and husband, Dennis, Neosho, Linda Kennedy, Farmington, Ark.; sisters, Irene Christerson, Neosho, Rowena McIntire, Neosho; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories Neosho; Steven Ellis officiating. Visitation will be held 6-7 p.m. today at Clark Funeral Home. Interment will be at Peace Valley Cemetery Anderson.
