  • Nettie Jane Creviston, 64, died at her home in Pierce City, March 29, 2013.  
    Nettie was born Oct. 11, 1948, in Stark City to Carl P. and Annie Bell (Cox) Creviston. She lived in the Southwest Missouri area her entire life. Nettie was a child care provider. Nettie loved to read and was a collector of Bibles, books and Barbie movies.
    She is survived by six brothers: J.O. Creviston, Marion Cox, George Dickerson, Henry Creviston, Woodrow Creviston and Frank Creviston.  She was also survived by five sisters: Mary Alice Manley, Edna Eastburn, Joyce Girdner, Nancy Durance and Carling Wheeler; numerous nieces and nephews.  
    In addition to her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by a brother, William.
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby, with Dr. Jerry Seigel officiating. Interment will follow at Harvey Cemetery, LaRussell, Mo. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Nettie will lie in state from 9 a.m. to  5 p.m. on Tuesday, at Clark Funeral Home, Granby. Contributions may be made to the Nettie Jane Creviston Memorial Fund c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 26, Granby, 64844-0026.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Granby.
