The FBI, Texas Rangers and other law enforcement groups are investigating the deaths of two prosecutors in Kaufman County, Texas, that took place two months apart. Gov. Rick Perry has said he is concerned about the safety of law enforcement officials in the state, and that it is possible that white supremacist groups or drug cartels are responsible for the deaths. Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McClelland and his wife, Cynthia, were found dead at their home Saturday. McClelland was focused on capturing those responsible for the death of one of his assistants, Mark Hasse. Hasse was killed Jan. 31 of this year. All three victims were fatally shot.
