Ollie Marie McRoberts, 82, Neosho, passed away April 4, 2013 after an illness.
She was born Nov. 18, 1930, to Elmer and Pearl Kent in Drumwright, Okla. Ollie moved to Neosho early in her childhood, where she would later marry and raise her family. She married William G. McRoberts on Nov. 6, 1947.
Ollie was a lifelong resident of Neosho. She attended Neosho High School and was a member of the First Christian Church of Neosho. She retired from Sunbeam in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 14, 1954. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Marjorie Smith, Tullahoma, Tenn.
Ollie is survived by two children, daughter, Jeanne Hailey and husband, Rick, Neosho; son, Steven McRoberts and wife, Lynn, Winfield, Kan.; sister, Lois Elderton, Neosho; four grandchildren, Annett Ross and husband, Brian, Joplin, Elizabeth Hailey, Neosho, Tiffani Arnold, Wichita, Kan., and Traci Sprayberry and husband, Jason, Haysville, Kan.; six great-grandchildren; nephew, Bobby Smith and wife Beverly, Tullahoma.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 8, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories Neosho; Rev. Al Gritten officiating.
