Janet S. Troxel, 66, Neosho, died April 14, 2013, at her home, following a lengthy illness.
Janet was born July 25, 1946, in Neosho, the daughter of Thomas and Laura (Watkins) Pogue. She lived most of her life in the Neosho area and had worked at Oxford Home Health and was a homemaker. She loved sewing and her cats and was a member of the Church of Hope. Janet married Billy Joe Troxel on Nov. 26, 1966, at Neosho and he preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1990.
She is survived by five children, Lori Neece and husband, Rodney, Joplin, Becky Bolton and husband, Johnathan, Goodman, Robert Troxel and wife, Sonya, Weir, Kan., Sarah Hoover and husband, John, Neosho and Cindi Evans and husband, Joshua, Webb City; and 11 grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Rev. Malcolm Mosby will officiate. Private interment will follow services.
Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. today and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
