  • The Neosho R-5 Board of Education approved a bid on tuckpointing at Central Elementary and sealing and painting exterior walls at South Elementary.
The board awarded a $74,000 bid for the work to MTS Contracting, with the Central work estimated at $51,500 and the work at South School estimated at $22,500.
The other bidder was Branco Enterprises, which estimated the work for the two projects at $135,000, with $79,000 allotted for the work at Central and $56,000 for the South School project.
