  • Douglas Krieg Williams, 54, Neosho, entered into rest at his home after battling cancer.
    He was born March 30, 1959, in Pueblo, Colo.. to Alden and Gloria (Krieg) Williams.
    While living in Colorado, Doug owned and operated Canon Excavating from 1987 until 2000. He and his family moved to Missouri and he became co-owner of D & L Investments with his wife. Doug was a very hard-working man and loved spending time with his family and vacationing. He was a very active person; he loved horseback riding, boating, fishing, jeeping and many other outdoor activities. He and his family moved to Neosho in 2006, where they became involved with wrestling. Doug was elected to the board of WXT Wrestling Club and served as president for two years. Doug will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
    Doug married his wife Lois in 1994, and she survives.
    He is also survived by his children, Rachel Williams, Brooke Williams, and John Williams, all of Neosho; his father, Al Williams, Canon City, Colo.; brothers, Ray Williams, Southwest City, Mike Williams, Canon City; sister, Kristie Gibson, Southwest City; numerous nieces and nephews.
    Doug was preceded in death by his daughter, Sierra Dawn Williams; dad, Roy Kintigh; and mother, Gloria Kintigh.
    A celebration of life gathering will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, at the VFW, 1412 Waldo Halter Memorial Dr., Neosho.
    In lieu of flowers the family, has requested memorial contributions may be made in Doug's memory to the Douglas Williams Memorial Fund for the benefit of wrestlers needing financial assistance. C/O Clark Funeral Home P.O. Box 66 Neosho, 64850.
    Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
