Cameron Langley had the only victory of the day for the Neosho tennis team on Monday as the boys fell to Carl Junction 8-1 in varsity action at Neosho High School.

Langley’s victory came at No. 5 singles where he topped Clayton Sloniker 8-4.

Neosho fell to 0-6 with the loss.

At singles’ Neosho’s Jordan Cox lost to Ben Coltharp 8-1. Tucker Bailey fell to Andy Gloshen 8-1. Trenton Harper lost to Matt Casper 8-4. Jace Hendricks lost to Brandon Weston 8-3.

At doubles Cox-Bailey lost to Coltharp-Gloshen 8-0. Parks-Hopper fell to Smith-Casper in a close match, 9-8 (7-0). Langley-Nathan Scribner lost to Sloniker-Weston 8-4.

The Wildcats entertain Webb City at 4:30 p.m. today.
