A Monday evening crash south of Stella sent two teenagers to the hospital with minor injuries.
Nicolas R. Hutchison, 16 of Joplin, was driving eastbound on Quince Road, six miles south of Stella, in a 1992 Chevrolet S10, when he lost control on the gravel road.
The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence and tree.
Hutchison and his passenger, Brandon M. Lester, 19 of Mt. Vernon, were taken by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.

Sonia A. Myers, 37 of Galena, Kan., sustained minor injuries Sunday afternoon in a two-car crash west of Joplin.
Myers was traveling westbound on Apricot Drive, in Newton County, four miles west of Joplin, in a 1988 Buick LaSabre, when she struck a westbound 2012 GMC Sierra that was attempting to make a left turn.
The driver of the GMC Sierra, Steven J. Miller, 55, of Joplin, was not injured in the crash.
Myers was taken to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment.

A Friday afternoon crash sent one McDonald County man to the hospital with moderate injuries.
Kevin J. Burrowes, 49 of Goodman, was traveling northbound on Highway 59 in Goodman in a 1998 Ford Taurus around 3:22 p.m., when he lost control of the vehicle, skidded off the left side of the roadway, up an embankment and overturned.
He was taken to Freeman West Hospital, in Joplin, for treatment.

A New York man sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in McDonald County.
Seth M. Zezoff, 29, was a passenger in a southbound 2007 Chevrolet Aveo, driven by Sauncie M. Anderson, 23 of Springdale, Ark., when the vehicle traveled off the left side of Route KK to avoid a deer and overturned.
Zezoff was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. for treatment. Anderson was not injured in the crash.
